That's because the game has a rich lore and world complete with 10 playable races, all of which have their own background and dynamics with the game world, not to mention their unique special abilities. What I mean for example is, something like the Khajit Run mod, ( ), which modifies the Khajit's run animations so that they run on all fours like a cat.Įven little things, like, when in an unarmed fighting stance, if instead of putting up a guard, the argonian would instead outstretch his or her arms to the side and display their powerful claws, bare their scary and strong teeth, and have their tail sway side to side behind them (not expecting these animations to be out there, just an example), would go a long way to show the difference between this BEAST race and the human they're fighting. It feels as if you're just a weird looking human, you know what I mean? There are no unique animations or unique qualities to them to make them FEEL like if they're not just human re-skins. Are there any mods or collection of mods that serve the purpose of making the playable beast races of Skyrim (khajit and argonian) more beast - like? I struggle to feel a difference when playing as them.
